Enclosed-Cab Loader Sweeper

The Enclosed-Cab Loader Sweeper, a cleaning equipment of Qingzhou Mingxu, is driven by the working oil pump of the loader which requires a triple valve. Its mixed nylon and steel wire brushes are wear-resistant and durable, and the closed baffle suppresses flying dust. It can clean gravel, dust and waste materials, suitable for construction sites, factory yards and roads. Customization, bulk procurement and export services are available.

The Mingxu Enclosed-Cab Loader Sweeper is a road cleaning attachment designed for use with standard loaders. It is powered by the loader's hydraulic system, specifically through the triple valve working oil pump, which supplies hydraulic flow to the roller brush. The attachment is intended for clearing gravel, dust, construction debris, leaves, and similar material from paved and unpaved surfaces.

The sweeper is compatible with most loader models and can be installed using the loader's quick coupler. For loaders without spare hydraulic circuits, an independent hydraulic power unit can be supplied as an option. The machine is available in standard configurations, and sweeping width or water tank capacity can be adjusted during production for bulk or export orders.

Operating Principle

The Enclosed-Cab Loader Sweeper is driven by the loader's triple valve working oil pump, which provides hydraulic flow to rotate the roller brush. The triple valve design supplies balanced oil distribution, helping to maintain brush speed when sweeping heavy material such as gravel or thick dust. The brush rotates continuously as the loader moves forward, sweeping debris into the collection bin.

For discharge, the standard configuration uses the loader's original tipping cylinder to tilt the bin. For loaders with limited hydraulic circuits, an optional independent hydraulic power unit can be installed to operate the brush and the bin separately, allowing the attachment to work with a wider range of loader models.

Operating Instructions

Pre-operation steps: Park the loader on level ground and turn off the engine. Connect the sweeper using the quick coupler and secure the locking pins. Check brush wear, bin seal, and water tank level. Start the engine and test roller rotation and lift function without load, confirming there is no jamming or oil leakage.

Cleaning operation: Drive forward at a low, uniform speed to avoid excessive brush wear. Reduce speed when encountering heavy debris. Use the water spray in dry or dusty areas. Avoid large metal objects and sharp stones that could damage the brush or hydraulic lines. Monitor the bin level and stop to empty when it approaches capacity.

Shutdown: Lift the sweeper clear of the ground and run briefly without load to clear residual material from the roller. Drive to the designated waste area and operate the hydraulic cylinder to tilt and empty the bin. Lower the bin and lock it before transport or storage.

Key Features

1. Triple valve hydraulic drive. The sweeper receives hydraulic power from the loader's triple valve pump, which provides more consistent flow than a single-valve system. This helps maintain brush speed under load and reduces the risk of stalling when clearing dense material.

2. Mixed nylon and steel wire brush. The brush combines steel wire for cutting through compacted debris and nylon for surface protection. The mixed construction is designed to resist wear and shedding during long periods of high-speed operation.

3. Mechanized sweeping. The hydraulically driven brush replaces manual cleaning for large areas, reducing the number of workers needed and increasing coverage per shift.

4. Loader compatibility. The attachment mounts via the loader's quick coupler and can be operated using the existing hydraulic controls. The optional independent power unit allows use with loaders that lack spare hydraulic circuits.

Field Performance and Multi-Condition Experience

Based on feedback from operators working in different environments, the sweeper has shown consistent performance across several common site conditions.

Processing plant gravel and crushed stone. In aggregate processing yards and stone crushing sites, the sweeper is commonly used to clear spilled gravel and smaller stone fragments from haul roads. Operators typically run at a moderate speed and angle the brush slightly to direct material toward the side. The mixed nylon and steel wire brush provides enough stiffness to move gravel without excessive wear. It is recommended to sweep in the same direction as material flow to reduce recontamination.

Cement residue and factory dust. In concrete batching plants and cement handling areas, the sweeper removes dry cement powder and set residue from paved yards. The water spray system is particularly useful here, as it wets the dust before the brush contacts it, reducing airborne particles. Operators report that daily cleaning with the sweeper helps prevent dust from being tracked into buildings and reduces the need for manual washing. The bin should be emptied more frequently when sweeping wet or dense cement residue, as the material is heavier than dry dust.

Factory yard dust and fine particles. In general factory and logistics yards, the sweeper is used to control fine dust and small debris such as sand, packaging fragments, and metal shavings. The brush performs well on sealed concrete and asphalt, leaving a visibly cleaner surface. For epoxy floors, the brush pressure can be adjusted to avoid surface marking. The sweep width of 2 meters allows efficient coverage of wide roads and loading areas.

Fallen leaves and organic debris. In parks, campuses, and tree-lined roads, the sweeper collects leaves, twigs, and light organic waste. It is most effective when the leaves are dry; wet leaves tend to mat and may require a second pass. The side brushes are useful for pulling leaves away from curbs and drain edges. The collection bin is large enough to handle a full season's leaf fall with fewer emptying trips compared with manual carts.

General operating notes from the field. Operators consistently recommend checking the brush mounting bolts and hydraulic connections after the first few hours of operation, as vibration can loosen fittings. It is also advisable to keep a spare brush set on site during peak cleaning periods, as brush life varies significantly depending on the abrasiveness of the material being swept. Regular greasing of the brush shaft bearings and visual inspection of the bin lift cylinder will help maintain consistent performance.

Typical Applications

1. Construction sites: removing construction waste and debris from access roads, foundation areas, and demolition sites.

2. Industrial parks and workshops: sweeping sediment, dust, and loose material from factory roads, parking lots, and loading zones.

3. Concrete batching plants: cleaning scattered gravel and cement residue from mixing plant yards.

4. Municipal road maintenance: daily sweeping of township roads, auxiliary roads, and public areas.

5. Parking lots and public spaces: removing leaves, sand, and small debris from large paved areas.

Major components including the hydraulic motor, roller shaft bearings, and frame are covered for 6 months. Manufacturing defects are repaired free of charge with original parts. Damage resulting from improper operation, overloading, or lack of scheduled maintenance is subject to parts cost only. Transport and installation labor are the customer's responsibility. Wear items such as brush bristles, bearings, and hydraulic seals are excluded from the free warranty.

FAQ

Q1: Can the sweeper be customized for a specific loader model?
A1: Yes. Sweeping width, brush type, and water tank capacity can be adjusted. The mounting bracket and hydraulic connections can be configured to match the loader's tonnage and hydraulic output. Providing the loader model and available hydraulic flow helps us confirm the most suitable configuration.

Q2: Is it safe to sweep large stones or bricks?
A2: The sweeper is designed for small stones, dust, leaves, and similar debris. Direct contact with very large stones or heavy objects can cause premature brush wear or frame damage. We recommend pre-clearing oversized debris or using a loader bucket for heavy material before sweeping.
