The heavy-duty Large Double Auger Snow Blower from Qingzhou Mingxu Supply Chain is an industrial large-scale snow removal machine. It boasts high snow handling capacity, long throwing range and clog-free continuous operation. Custom specifications are available for snow clearing on municipal roads, highways, factory compounds and other large venues.
Qingzhou Mingxu Supply Chain offers a heavy-duty dual auger snow thrower for large-scale winter snow removal. The machine uses counter-rotating dual spiral augers and is powered by a separate high-horsepower diesel engine, distinguishing it from smaller single-auger units.
The equipment is developed for deep snow, compacted frozen snow, and wet snow conditions. It combines snow gathering, crushing, and throwing into one continuous operation. Standard components include high-strength manganese steel cutting edges, anti-clog auger blades, and a large-diameter centrifugal throwing impeller. Configuration can be adjusted for municipal roads, highways, and factory yards, and the machine is available for single-unit purchase, bulk orders, or export.

How It Works
The Large Double Auger Snow Blower uses two counter-rotating augers that rotate inward to collect deep snow, compacted frozen snow, and wet snow toward the center. Integrated ice-breaking teeth crush hard snow blocks before the material is fed evenly to the high-speed throwing impeller. Centrifugal force from the impeller throws the snow directionally through the discharge chute. The chute can be rotated hydraulically to adjust the throwing direction, allowing snow to be thrown to the side or loaded into trucks.
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-operation preparation: Park the machine on level ground. Check diesel level, antifreeze, drive belts, and auger blades. Remove any debris. In low-temperature conditions, activate the engine preheating system. Test the chute rotation and lifting functions without load.
2. Startup: Run the engine at idle for 3–5 minutes to warm up. Confirm the transmission system functions normally without abnormal noise or jamming before beginning work.
3. Operation: Adjust travel speed according to snow thickness. Use low and uniform speed in deep or hard snow to avoid blockage. Adjust the throwing angle and distance electrically, keeping the discharge path clear of people, vehicles, and buildings. Monitor machine condition continuously, and stop for troubleshooting if abnormal noise, snow blockage, or power loss occurs.
4. Shutdown: Stop traveling and run the machine without load for 2 minutes to clear residual snow from the augers and impeller. Shut down the power system. Clean ice and snow from the augers, impeller, and chute. For long-term storage, drain water from the pipeline and apply anti-rust protection.
Key Features
1. Dual auger design. Two counter-rotating augers provide more uniform snow collection and crushing than a single auger, reducing the chance of clogging when handling compacted or wet snow.
2. Cold-weather construction. Core components are made of thickened manganese steel for impact resistance and low-temperature tolerance. A cold-start preheating system allows startup in sub-zero conditions.
3. High-capacity throwing. The large-diameter impeller and adjustable chute provide a throwing distance of up to 53 meters, allowing snow to be directed to either side or loaded into trucks.
4. Anti-clog auger blades. The blade profile is designed to prevent wet snow from sticking, helping maintain continuous operation without frequent stops for cleaning.
Typical Applications
1. Municipal road maintenance: clearing heavy snow from urban main roads, branch roads, and rural township roads in winter.
2. Highway transportation hubs: large-area snow removal on expressways, viaducts, toll stations, and service areas.
3. Large public venues: centralized snow clearing for airports, high-speed railway stations, squares, parks, and stadiums.
4. Industrial and logistics parks: snow removal from factory roads, logistics parks, mine yards, and industrial parks.
5. Agriculture and animal husbandry areas: winter snow cleaning for farms, pastures, field roads, and breeding parks in northern alpine regions.
6. Emergency snow removal: road clearing and snow transfer under blizzard conditions for emergency response projects.
Product Classification
1. Vehicle-mounted double auger snow blower: Compatible with 50 loaders and engineering vehicles. It is easy to install and provides good mobility, commonly used for municipal road projects.
2. Heavy-duty large double auger snow blower: Enlarged augers and higher power output for extreme snow conditions on highways, airports, and large mining areas.
Warranty and Support
The complete machine is covered for 12 months or 1,000 working hours, whichever comes first. Major components such as the engine, hydraulic pump, and transmission are covered for 6 months. Failures caused by manufacturing defects will be repaired free of charge with original parts. Damage due to improper operation, overloading, or lack of scheduled maintenance is subject to parts cost only. Shipping costs and installation labor are the customer's responsibility. Wear items such as auger blades, cutting edges, and drive belts are not included in the free warranty.
FAQ
Q1: How does the double auger design compare with single auger models?
A1: The dual augers rotate inward and feed snow more evenly to the impeller. This reduces blockage when handling wet or compacted snow and provides higher throughput than a single auger of similar size. The design is particularly useful for municipal and highway applications where consistent operation is required.
Q2: Can the machine operate reliably in very low temperatures?
A2: All models include an engine preheating system for cold starts. The structure and materials are selected for low-temperature performance, and the machine can start and run at temperatures down to approximately -30°C. Regular maintenance of the preheating system and use of appropriate lubricants are required for reliable winter operation.
